Mexico City on Saturday held its second annual Desfile de las Calaveras, a parade down the Paseo de la Reforma with the theme of Dia de los Muertos. The parade was actually inspired by a staging of an event for the James Bond movie Spectre - the movie version was so popular that the city decided to create one in real life. This year's parade was a moving testament to the strength of the city, so recently battered by earthquakes that left more than 200 people dead and many more homeless. Read more via the New York Times.
