A fun, lightweight crossbody and we don’t skimp on the tassels!
Impact: Each bag provides 1 day of fair work to women in India.
The woman behind the bag:
We work with a workshop in New Delhi to construct and assemble our Indian collection, using market fabrics. The workshop we partnered with is woman-owned and was established in 1996 with the motive of reviving the dying arts of India, and providing regular work to home workers. The workshop’s directors also
run and fund a girls school that offers free tuition and midday meals. Anita (pictured) has worked in the workshop for more than 15 years and specializes in bag accessories. She has three children: her daughter works from home, a son is in school and another son is an accountant.
